<p class="MsoNormal">A few weeks ago, the Provost’s Office sent out new policies regarding recording in classrooms, which erroneously stated that students must ask permission to do so. Arizona state law allows anyone (including students) to record; the UA
cannot create a policy that impinges that right. Recently, Dr. Greg Heileman (Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education) and Dr. Andrea Romero (Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs) updated the language to make sure it’s clearly stated as a request. The updated
