Webinar: Creating a Profile in SciENcv – Tues Jan 13th, 2026
Use of the Common Forms for Biographical Sketch, Current and Pending (Other) Support and NIH Biographical Sketch Supplement will be required for application due dates and all JIT, RPPR, and Prior Approval submissions on or after January 25, 2026. Learn how to access and use SciENcv to develop an NIH biographical sketch, while learning how NIH will divide the biosketch between SciENcv and a supplemental document. The session will be hosted by Health Sciences Librarians Victoria Caine and Rachel Martinez.

Webinar: Indigenous Data Sovereignty – Thurs Jan 22nd, 2026
The Oregon State University Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (OHSU/PNNL) Superfund Research Center has partnered with the Northwest Indian College to host a webinar on Indigenous data sovereignty within community-academic collaborations.

Webinar: Research Support Services Orientation – Wed Feb 11th – Thurs Feb 12th, 2026
The Office of Research & Partnerships is pleased to announce the next virtual Research Support Services Orientation. This program will introduce you to the centralized resources and infrastructure available to support and grow your research programs. While the orientation is specifically designed for research personnel who are new to the University, all members of the research community are welcome to participate, including faculty, postdocs, and administrative support staff.

Fellowship: Udall Center Fellows Program - Mon Feb 16th, 2026
If selected as a Udall Center Fellow, you will receive time in the Summer 2026, Fall 2026, or Spring 2027 term to devote to a research project related to, tangential to, or informing some area of public policy relevant to your area of academic expertise. Your chosen research can cover any aspect of public policy and need not relate to general Udall Center activities. In partnership with several other U of A colleges, institutes and programs, The Udall Center Fellows Program offers multiple specialized tracks tailored to your public-policy interests and designed to propel your research forward.

Funding: One Health Pilot Grants – Fri Feb 27th, 2026
The Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health’s One Health Research Initiative invites applications for One Health Pilot Grants. The full Request for Proposals (RFP) is attached. These grants support interdisciplinary projects addressing issues at the intersection of environmental, human, and animal health, with the goal of generating preliminary data for future external funding. Program is open to all UA faculty, but teams must include a MEZCOPH faculty member and a faculty member from another UA college. Award amounts up to $50,000 per project.
