The Promotion Workshop on Friday, May 26th was a success - thank you again to all who attended.

A few comments on the workshop - the audio quality is not the best. Because this was a highly interactive workshop, lots of questions and conversation are included throughout. I tried to repeat questions when I could - but I have checked through the recording, and you should be able to follow the conversation fairly well.

Also - a question that came up several times on Friday was the forwarding of Section 6B (Supplemental Teaching) to external and college-level reviewers. This section is NOT forwarded, so if there is any information that you're placing in 6B that is particularly meaningful (e.g., an email from a student), please include quotes from these materials in your teaching philosophy.
