Dear ALVSCE Faculty and Staff,



After nine years of service to ALVSCE and the University of Arizona, Fatemah Dili has accepted a position at Oregon State University.  Her last day at the UA will be August 11.


As a key member of the outstanding ALVSCE pre award team, Fatemah has been an exceptional pre award Grants and Contracts manager, serving a number of CALS units and Cooperative Extension Offices. For the past several years, she has handled all pre award services for the School of Plant Sciences, the Department of Entomology, the Cooperative Extension Offices in Coconino, Gila, Graham Mohave, Pinal and Yavapai Counties, and the Yuma Center of Excellence for Desert Agriculture.  Despite this exceptional load, Fatemah has unfailingly gone far beyond expectations to ensure that grants and contracts submissions have proceeded smoothly and on time.  She has been highly protective of "her" faculty and staff, who are glowing in their praise of her assistance and support during the frequently stressful time of grant proposal preparation and submission.  In recognition of her accomplishments and dedication, Fatemah received the 2022 ALVSCE Outstanding Staff Award.  She will be missed by the ALVSCE Research Office team and by all who worked with her.


Please join me in thanking Fatemah for everything she has accomplished to advance the ALVSCE research mission and wishing her well in her new position.


A search to fill her position has already begun.
