[Faculty] Call for Presentations for September 28th One Health Symposium

Dear Colleagues,

UA Health Sciences will be hosting the 2nd One Health Symposium on September 28th from 9:00am-4:00pm in the Forum at the Health Sciences Innovation Building.

Times are approximate, but our program will consist of the following (including twelve (12) ten-minute presentations):

9:00am-10:00am: Keynote Speaker
10:15am-11:30am: Session 1 Presentations – Four (4) ten-minute slots, each w/ 5-minute Q&A
11:30am – 12:15pm: Break for Lunch
12:15pm – 1:30pm: Session 2 Presentations – Four (4) ten-minute slots, each w/ 5-minute Q&A
1:30pm – 3:00pm: Session 3 Presentations – Four (4) ten-minute slots, each w/ 5-minute Q&A
3:00pm – 4:00pm: Panel Discussion and Q&A
4:00pm-5:30pm: Light Reception

If you are interested in presenting your research at the event, please email me at rjw at arizona.edu<mailto:rjw at arizona.edu>, and provide a one paragraph summary of your proposed talk w/ title, no later than August 26th.
All submissions will be reviewed for common interdisciplinary themes, and based on the topics submitted, themes will then be chosen. Those selected to present will be notified by August 31st with presentations due to our office no later than September 21st.  A preliminary program with more details will be sent out shortly after Labor Day.

Faculty whose submissions are not chosen for this event may be asked to present at the next symposium in the spring.
