Dear CALS Faculty,



If we haven’t already met, I’d like to introduce the CCT Data Science team. We are a small group of data scientists and scientific programmers here to enable researchers facing challenges related to data, analysis, and computing in CALS, the Experiment Station, and Cooperative Extension. We can support your research by collaborating on research projects and providing training tailored to improve skills in open science,  scientific software, programming, statistics, data visualization, and data management.

Then we can keep you up to date with our activities, including:



* Data Science Incubator Program Our incubator program is an ongoing opportunity for researchers in ALVSCE to work with our team to understand and take advantage of opportunities enabled by new and emerging data resources and computing methods. We are currently accepting proposals on a rolling basis, please contact us to discuss your ideas.


* Workshops and guest lectures, and CCT Data Science also hosts virtual workshops, which are offered roughly monthly and cover a range of user-requested topics. Many have been designed to address specific gaps identified by small groups.


* Meetings and Office Hours: We have weekly office hours every Tuesday morning from 9-10, feel free to drop in! You can also schedule one-on-one meetings directly through our people page.
