[Faculty] Reminder: Accepting CALS Faculty Career Champions nominations

Dear CALS Faculty,

This is a reminder that the CALS Career Center is currently accepting nominations for its newly launched CALS Faculty Career Champions program. The program is designed to build stronger collaborations between the Career Center and the academic units in the College. Faculty Champions will serve as liaisons between their home academic unit and the Career Center with the specific purpose of more effectively and synergistically creating new and further capitalizing on existing approaches to supporting the career development of all CALS students. The goal is to include one Faculty Champion from each academic unit in the program.

The inaugural Champion cohort will serve a three-semester term beginning in the Spring 2022 and ending at the conclusion of the Spring 2023 semester. Inaugural Champions will be awarded a stipend totaling $1,500 ($500 per semester of service). All full-time members of the CALS faculty are eligible to be nominated for the Faculty Career Champion program.

Complete packets should be emailed directly to me at mmars at arizona.edu<mailto:mmars at arizona.edu> by 5:00pm on Monday, November 1, 2021. Please see the attached call for nominations for further details on the program and the nomination packet requirements.
