Dear CALS Faculty:
The CALS Research Office is seeking an Assistant Dean for Research to work closely with the Associate Dean for Research, College leadership and research administration staff to support and advance the research mission of the College. This position was first posted last year, however the COVID-19 pandemic related hiring freeze led to cancellation of that recruitment. With the hiring freeze lifted, the position is now re posted. Candidates who applied last year who still wish to be considered for this position will need to resubmit their application materials.
The successful candidate will be a tenured faculty member with a demonstrated record of research accomplishment. Desired attributes include excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, strong personal values, and a willingness to put the success of others before theirs. This will be a part time position (up to 0.5FTE).
