[Faculty] FW: Adjustments to annual performance review

Good morning everyone, please see the attached document from Provost Folks re: the annual performance review process for 2020.

Of note – it is now “official” that peer teaching evaluations for fall 2020 will be on an opt-in basis; faculty can have them done if they wish but they will not be required.

As your units make any needed adjustments to the review process/criteria for 2020, please: 1) communicate with all faculty (in writing) to ensure that everyone is aware of any adjustments; 2) convene meetings of your unit APR committees to ensure that all committee members are fully cognizant of making allowances of pressures that all faculty encountered in 2020.

I am available to work with each unit if needed to work on equitable adjustments to the 2020 APR process.
