Dear esteemed colleague,

On behalf of NSF and USDA NIFA, we are contacting you as the Dean, Director, or Chair of a college, program, or activity in Agricultural or Environmental Sciences. We hope that you will take a moment to disseminate to your faculty and research staff this important opportunity to review proposals in this year’s National AI Research Institutes program, and especially the theme, “AI-Driven Innovation in Agriculture and the Food System,” where we are in particular need of the expertise in your organization. Details below for all interested reviewers. Thank you for your time.

NSF National AI Research Institute Program Team

--------------------

Dear prospective reviewer,

We ask that you consider volunteering as a peer reviewer for the interdisciplinary panels that will review proposals submitted to NSF’s upcoming National Artificial Intelligence Research Institutes competition (for more details, please see the program information page<https://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=505686>, which has links to the solicitation<https://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2020/nsf20604/nsf20604.htm>, FAQ<https://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2020/nsf20123/nsf20123.jsp>, and more). Panels are expected to meet in February and March (specific panel dates in the survey). If you are interested, please complete this short survey<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AIInstitutes>. Note that you may still serve as a panelist even if you are submitting a proposal to the competition. We will be organizing the panels in different themes to minimize potential conflicts of interest. Please feel free to forward this survey to your colleagues who might be interested.

If you have questions or concerns, please email us at: AIInstitutesProgram at nsf.gov<mailto:AIInstitutesProgram at nsf.gov>

Thank you!
