[Faculty] Faculty Council memo on annual peer evaluation

Hi Everyone,

Academic unit leaders are required to complete annual faculty performance reviews and the Faculty Council supports efforts to streamline this process while ensuring it is equitable for all faculty. The recommendations in the attached memo are designed to address these issues while supporting recommendations made by

  *   the September 9, 2020 memo issued by Vice President for Academic Affairs Provost Liesl Folks; and
  *   the University committee reviewing APR processes.

This year has been disruptive in many ways and as you complete this process, we encourage peer review committees to be mindful of their own time and their colleagues, as well as considering how to adjust expectations for the disruptions experienced throughout 2020.
