[Faculty] Contingency Planning

Colleagues –

With the government shutdown impacting new awards, support from federal employees and facilities, new funding opportunities and the peer review of pending applications, we need to begin creating our own contingency plan for our research programs.

Late yesterday, Belinda Oden, CALS’ director of finance and administration, asked each CALS unit head to create transparently with you a contingency funding plan for deciding whether or not to backstop needs using funds that they control as shown in your unit’s quarterly unit budget report<https://arizona.account.box.com/login?redirect_url=https%3A%2F%2Farizona.app.box.com%2Fv%2Fcals-quarterly-all-funds>.
