Join the University of Arizona Nutritional Sciences Department February 22-24, 2017, and learn how to "feed your genome."
Imagine a world in which nutrition and exercise recommendations are designed for YOU, and not the average person. We know that “one-size-fits-all” programs and therapies do not lead to successful outcomes for most people. However, we are only beginning to learn just how unique we are. Our 2017 conference is focused on the emerging field of precision nutrition and health, which focuses on tailored approaches to chronic disease prevention and treatment; those that consider individual differences in genes, environment, and lifestyles, and how these factors interact to influence your health and well-being, and that of your clients and patients.
Join the University of Arizona CALS Nutritional Sciences Department for their Frontiers in Nutritional Sciences Conference<http://nutrition.cals.arizona.edu/rfnsconference> on February 22-24, 2017, in Tucson, Arizona, and learn how to “feed your genome.” We have confirmed a stellar line up<http://nutrition.cals.arizona.edu/rfnsconference-agenda> of international speakers who will share the science and the practice of precision nutrition, with a focus on practical application.
This conference is appropriate for health professionals, educators, students, scientists, and the interested public. We are very pleased to extend a special welcome to students, and to offer continuing education units for dietitians and consumer and family scientists and professionals.
Conference registration <http://nutrition.cals.arizona.edu/rfnsconference-registration> includes 2 full days of science at the University of Arizona, and an opening night reception honoring Tucson’s designation as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy<https://www.tucsonaz.gov/integrated-planning/tucson-unesco-city-gastronomy> and featuring Dr. Ski Chilton, author of the Gene Smart Diet. This Food Wine and Healthy Living evening event <https://www.regonline.com/Register/Checkin.aspx?EventID=1864163> is also open to the public and tickets may be purchased separately for $40.
