[Faculty] Institute for Energy Solutions Strategic Planning

Dear CALS Colleagues:

The Institute for Energy Solutions (www.energy.arizona.edu<http://www.energy.arizona.edu>) is developing a strategic plan and roadmap.
You are invited to be part of the planning process (see attached flyer). Of particular interest maybe the Energy-Water-Food Nexus focus group, Built Environments and Human Health, or the Bioenergy focus group. We also have focus groups on Energy and Society,  Energy Systems, and Power Forecasting. If you are unable to attend, please invite a senior graduate student or post doc to attend. We will be discussing our Strengths, Weaknesses, Areas of Opportunity, and Technology gaps which we are well suited to address during the focus groups. The analysis will help us prioritize which areas should receive some "jump start" funding to establish strong teams to develop strong proposals.
