Subject: UAccess Research proposal email notifications coming 3/7!
Hi User Group,
UAccess Research workflow notifications for proposals will be turned on Monday, March 7th :)  This means that an automatic email notice will be generated when a proposal reaches a reviewer's UAccess Research action list.  You'll know right away when a proposal needs your attention!  Email is sent to a person's preferred University email address and corrections may be requested through your department Human Resources Representative.

Email notifications include:

*         Action Requested - The email subject line begins with Approve, Acknowledge, FYI or Complete

*         Proposal Identification - The proposal is identified by eDoc ID, title, Principal Investigator, Sponsor and due date

*         System links for immediate action - Convenient hyperlinks direct a reviewer to the proposal for action, to their action list or to support resources

Just FYI on one oddity we've noticed with system behavior and sending emails.  If you are an approver in future workflow stops and select NO to the prompt on whether to see future action requests -> once the proposal gets to that next stop we've seen some emails still being sent to users in that workflow group (even though it's auto-approved).  I believe the slight delay in the system before it auto-approves is letting some of these notifications slip through and be sent until the system updates to approved for that specific route stop.  Worst case is these users get the email and login to see the stop has already been approved by another person in their group.  But just wanted to give you all a heads up.

A formal email announcement will also be sent out via RAMTALK soon but please spread the word with your faculty/staff.  And if you notice any unusual behavior please let me know :)
