[Faculty] New Research Contracts Process for CALS

Dear Faculty,

I am happy to announce that CALS Research Office has put a new process in place to ensure a simple and efficient way to submit and get research contracts processed through CRSP with minimum burden on faculty.

Beginning July 18th, 2016 all research contracts (Research Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, MOUs, Testing Services Agreement etc.)  from CALS will be submitted through  your pre-award support staff. Please work with the staff listed below to get your contracts submitted to the Contracts & Research Services Program (CRSP) in the ORD office. CRSP will not be accepting contracts directly from anybody other that the staff listed below. This is to make sure there is a college-wide uniform process. Your pre-award staff will make sure all the documents required are collected and submitted and will start proposal routing, if required, for the contract.
They will also track the contracts and make sure nothing gets "stuck" in the process and will facilitate communication between Faculty, CRSP, Sponsored Projects and Sponsor.
