Gerber Foundation - Pediatric Research Projects
Deadline: December 1, 2015
Grants of up to $300,000 will be awarded to research projects focused on improving the health, nutrition, and/or development of infants and young children. Research projects should focus on issues faced by care providers and implementation. Priority will be given to projects offering a substantial promise of meaningful advances in prevention and treatment of diseases as well as those with broad applicability to the general population on a regional or national level.

ASCAP Foundation - Young Jazz Composer Awards
Deadline: December 1, 2015
Grants will be awarded for original jazz scores or compositions by talented young jazz composers. To be considered, applicants must submit an original score of a composition accompanied by a CD.

Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation - Physician-Scientist Training Award

Honeybee Conservancy - Grants for Beekeeping Materials
Deadline: December 4, 2015
Through its Sponsor-A-Hive program, the conservancy will award as many as ten grants in the form of honey or solitary bees, beekeeping equipment, and information on how to care for the bees. Bees are strategically placed in locations where they can bolster existing populations, advance science and environmental education, and pollinate locally grown food.

American Foundation for Aging Research - Junior Faculty Research Grants
Deadline: December 15, 2015
One- to two-year grants of up to $100,000 will be awarded to junior faculty in support of research on a broad range of biomedical and clinical topics related to aging. Examples of potentially fundable areas of research include, but are not limited to: aging and immune function, stem cell aging, inflammation, etc. The applicant must be an independent investigator with independent research space.

American Head and Neck Society - Pilot Program Grants

Grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded in support of basic, translational, or clinical research projects in head and neck oncology. Temper of the Times Foundation - Environmental Awareness Marketing Grants

Massage Therapy Foundation - Community Service Grants

Beckman Center - History of Science Fellowships

American Psychological Association - Congressional Fellowship Program

Fellows will receive stipends of up to $90,000 to spend a year working for a member of Congress or a congressional committee. Activities may involve drafting legislation, conducting oversight work, assisting with congressional hearings and events, and/or preparing briefs and speeches. The APA fellowship is open to all full APA members, but the APF fellowship was created to support psychologists with a background in developmental or clinical psychology and experience working directly with children.
