Important Dates:

  *   College Review Internal Deadline:  On or about May 4, 2015.  Please consult with your Dean’s office for the specific date.
  *   Office for Research & Discovery Internal Deadline:  May 15, 2015
  *   UA-Foundation Deadline (UA-selected Concept Papers): June 22, 2015
  *   Sponsor Deadlines:  Pre-application Counseling  during 7/1/15 – 8/15/15; Phase I Applications – 11/1/15
Interested faculty are asked to submit a one page proposed Concept Paper for this Limited Solicitation Notice to their Dean for referral to ORD by the internal deadline, which includes the requirements described below:
WMKF Concept Paper Guidelines allow the institution to submit, on behalf of each investigator, a single-page (using 12 point font with 1 inch margins) for the Research Program that includes:

  *   An overview of the proposed project emphasizing any unique aspects and pilot studies (indicate area of emphasis for project - medical research or science and engineering research);
  *   A description of the methodologies and key personnel;
  *   A brief justification of the need for Keck support; and
  *   An estimated budget broken down, if possible, by major areas, e.g., personnel, equipment, consumable supplies, etc. (budgets can be rough approximations at this stage).
