[Faculty] Accepting abstracts for CALS Research Poster Forum - last date October 31, 2014

Dear CALS Faculty,

I have received questions about the poster forum that I would like to address:

1.       The purpose of the forum is to showcase ALL the work done in CALS. Please do not hesitate to put in posters that highlight outreach programs etc. This is your forum.

2.       A faculty can submit more than one poster if they have multiple projects they would like to highlight

3.       Please use this opportunity to identify collaborators and form multidisciplinary teams. All abstracts will posted on the website after November 5.

4.       The forum is open to all and can be attended even if you have not submitted an entry

5.       Last date for abstract submission is October 31, 2014. Please submit you abstracts at: https://research.cals.arizona.edu/events/poster-forum#<https://research.cals.arizona.edu/events/poster-forum>

First Annual CALS Research Poster Forum
November 10, 2014
Student Union Ball Room from 11 am to 2 pm

The CALS Research Office is happy to announce a new annual event this year - the CALS Research Poster Forum.
The goal of this event is to showcase all research at CALS, including research done in academic departments and extension, and to foster collaboration.

Dean Shane Burgess will be making the opening remarks at 11 am.

1. All Faculty, Specialists and Agents are encouraged to submit at least one entry as a senior author
2. Any one of the authors (faculty, student, postdoc or staff) will be present by the poster during the forum
3. The Poster Forum will be open to all CALS personnel (Faculty, Staff, Administrators, Postdocs, Students, etc.) and your colleagues from other colleges are welcome to attend
4. Posters presented at other meetings in the recent past can be displayed
5. No size restrictions on posters
6. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by The Office of Technology Transfer Licensing Managers to identify opportunities to protect the Intellectual Property
