[Faculty] Senate Notes

Dear Colleagues,

 

Attached is a brief summary of what was discussed, presented and/or voted on
at this month's Faculty Senate.  You'll note in item #3 of the summary that
the Senate approved new guidelines for the reorganization and merger of
academic units.  I have also attached a copy of these guidelines for your
review.

 

As a reminder, the summary is not a full accounting of the meeting minutes
but rather a snapshot of what occurred in the hopes that you will share your
thoughts with me (or one of your Senate representatives: Joel Cuello, Ed
Franklin, Phil Guertin, Roger Dahlgran or Chair of the Faculty, Wanda
Howell) and also with your colleagues.
