cultural landscapes, wetlands, coastal prairie, and submerged archeological resources, among many others. The Division facilitates scientific research, performs integrated pest management tasks, and completes various compliance requirements, such as consulting
with regulatory and cooperating agencies, completing environmental analyses, and determining effects of proposed actions on the park's cultural and natural resources. Padre Island National Seashore is one of a handful of National Park Service units that permit
