The National Park Service, in partnership with Preservation Maryland, and with generous support from a Harrison Goodall, are launching the Harrison Goodall Preservation Fellowship.

 "Preservation changed my life; I'd like to see it do the same for others."

This opportunity is intended to bring Harrison's vision to life. It is meant to encourage innovation in the field of historic preservation and provide professional development through mentorship.  Please share this announcement widely and contact us with any questions.

About Harrison Goodall
[Harrison Goodall]

Dr. Harrison Goodall came into historic preservation in the early 1970s as a curious building science professor with a class of students in tow. To say the least, neither the field nor Harrison Goodall have been the same ever since.

Goodall has completed over 1,600 architectural conservation consultations in the United States and beyond. He has completed over 135 historic preservation projects (mostly with volunteers) in 55 national parks and 48 national forests and he has taught over 100 historic preservation courses, impacting hundreds of students and volunteers along the way.
