Dear Partners,

Please see participation information below for Webinar: Citizen Science in Undergrad Science Education. This may interest some of you and your colleagues.

SciStarter is hosting a webinar this Friday (1:00 EDT) on citizen science in undergraduate education, particularly as a virtual supplement (or replacement) for field research experiences during this pandemic.

More generally -- there's a growing community of faculty who incorporate citizen science into undergraduate science courses. I don't know how often parks are linked to such efforts, but it seems like a good opportunity to help the next generation of scientists associate scientific research with public lands and civic engagement.
