[DSCESU] Response Required- DSCESU Renewal Information

Dear Partners,

The Desert Southwest CESU will celebrate its twenty-year anniversary in 2020, at which time the CESU and its agreement will be eligible for renewal for a fifth five-year term (2020-2025). The Desert Southwest CESU cooperative and joint venture agreement will expire on 15 August 2020. Your engagement is critical for a successful fifth term renewal!

You can assist by responding to the two items listed below. The first deadline, relates to nominating and selecting external reviewers. External Reviewers are federal or nonfederal colleagues familiar with the CESU program, but not actively engaged in the CESU under review. Using this google form<https://forms.gle/yZsGqGBM1K8rLiW89> please submit your suggestions by November 8, 2019. The form and renewal guidance document (attached) provide more details about criteria for external reviewers.

The second deadline, relates to project reporting. We need information regarding all DCSESU projects your agency/university/organization has engaged in between 2015-2019. We are asking that you send us your project information by November 15, 2019. You can report using this google form<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QpSSkoB3TksdOm_6tUAeaKbJRZ97Rk_1Nkhj8c8a97I/edit?usp=sharing> or by completing the excel spreadsheet.

We will request additional feedback regarding the renewal in the upcoming weeks. Please let us know if you have questions.
