<a href="https://compass.arizona.edu/dbs/business-resources">required business policies</a> are created to steward the public trust. As with any form of trust, it takes a lot to build and very little to destroy. Therefore, even minor breaches are serious.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">On August 2<sup>nd</sup>, I was made aware by a university senior leader of a complaint about an ALVSCE employee driving a university vehicle on personal use. I have asked
for specific information so that I can learn more and take appropriate actions, as warranted. However, I wanted to use this incident as a reminder of the importance of these policies and direct you to immediately take the necessary steps to ensure they are
complied with in your units. One of these policies is for vehicle use, which clearly prohibits university vehicles being used personally:
