<p style="line-height:150%"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#212529">To align with the Arizona Department of Administration fleet safety policy, the university has made the following changes to the

<span style="color:#8B0015">University Fleet Safety Program</span></a>, which are reflected in the new Driver Certification training:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<li style="color:#212529;line-height:150%;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The new Driver Certification is a one-time requirement, either upon hiring or when employees are first required to drive for university business.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li style="color:#212529;line-height:150%;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Once employees complete the Driver Certification, they will no longer be required to take a refresher training every four years, as long as they
are in “acceptable status.”<o:p></o:p></span></li><li style="color:#212529;line-height:150%;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Employees who drive for university business must have a valid Arizona state driver’s license, have an “Acceptable” Motor Vehicle Review status
and complete the Driver Certification training.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li style="color:#212529;line-height:150%;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">There is no longer a minimum age and a 2-year driving experience requirement, unless driving a high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) for the university.<o:p></o:p></span></li></ul>
