The department chair is at the center of nearly everything that gets done, from menial daily tasks to great innovations in education and research. Yet in many cases, chairs receive the bare minimum of essential support needed for professional development and
training.<br>

To help strengthen chairs' leadership skills, I want to extend a personal invitation to university deans and provosts to register their hard-working chairs for
