<p class="MsoNormal">Academic unit heads, CEDs, and business officers, over the years I have had complaints from faculty that they do not know how CEDs, and academic unit heads chose faculty search committee members (the very definition of a faculty-self and
shared governance processes) and that the faculty on search committees do not reach out to their colleagues to get input on the searches<span style="color:#1F497D">.</span> These issues were raised at this week’s FC meeting. I want to get some objective data
from you before my next steps please.<o:p></o:p></p>
