<p class="MsoNormal">As I mentioned we are really excited to be in our second year of End-of-Year Program Evaluation for Arizona 4-H for both youth and DCCs. We are setting the national trend on this effort and are in a position to contribute considerably to
the national conversation in regards to 4-H program quality, and of course to continue being a theoretically and data-informed program that delivers on our claims through evidence. Did you know that there are no other states doing an end of year evaluation
for their volunteers? And, this year the National movement has copied our effort by conducting a National 4-H Thriving Index study using a very similar approach to Arizona.

We are asking that every county send out the Annual Survey Staff Email to all youth and families that completed the 2020-2021 4-H Year and to all DCC’s that provided service in 2020-2021 directly from your (4-H professionals) e-mail address. We have attached
the 2021 4-H Annual Survey Background for you to be informed on the process. <u>
We are asking that the request for completion initially happen before Thanksgiving</u> and then after Thanksgiving as well. Please forward me your initial solicitation so that we can have that on file.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">If you have questions <a href="mailto:davery@arizona.edu">DeeDee Avery</a>, Evaluation Specialist with Community Research, Evaluation & Development (CRED) Team will be joining the November 19<sup>th</sup> Java with Jeremy (9:30-10:15am)
to answer your questions. Please join us and learn about some of the great outcomes that we have already learned because of the initial end-of-year survey that was conducted last year. <o:p></o:p></p>
