<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:106%"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Over the years, our lab, Dr. Monica Ramirez-Andreotta's <a href="https://ramirez-andreotta.faculty.arizona.edu/">Integrated Environmental Science
and HealthRisk Lab</a>, has collaborated with Cooperative Extension to reach out to rural and urban communities in Arizona to address environmental health concerns that they have identified as important to their well-being.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:106%"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Currently, we are working on building an interactive mapping tool that considers each community’s strengths and needs and ultimately influences their
resiliency or vulnerability to environmental threats.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:106%"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">This project is titled, the
<a href="https://www.superfund.arizona.edu/cores/administrative-and-research-translation-core/health-opportunity-wellness-landscape-howl">
<span style="color:#0563C1">Health Opportunity Wellness Landscape (HOWL)</span></a> and is part of the larger Superfund Research Center. As part of our initial efforts, we want to hear directly from the community and get their input on what factors contribute
to their community’s environmental, economic, political, and social well-being.
