<p class="MsoNormal">As we work together to enhance our advocacy efforts at the national level, both in our messaging and in our partnerships, being able to share the power of Cooperative Extension is critically important.

</b>In order to better understand the human resource capacity of the Cooperative Extension System, we would like to work with you to gather data on the total number of paid Extension staff, and the total number of Extension volunteers across the nation. This

 data has not been gathered for many years, and we are at times asked to describe the number of people that support the Land-grant University Extension Mission. The ECOP National Office will track responses and only use the data gathered as a national aggregate.
