and </span>overall CES outputs and outcomes. These overall CES outputs and outcomes become relevant to academic units heads when the CES Director
<span style="letter-spacing:-.05pt">invests CES </span>Specialist faculty FTE whose continuing status is by definition held in their academic units. CALS Academic unit heads who have Extension FTE in their units are responsible and accountable for their
<i>units’</i> discipline-specific CES outputs and outcomes being consistent with the CES strategy.

<i>how </i>they deliver their programs so that their units’ discipline-specific CES outputs and outcomes are achieved.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right:36.25pt;line-height:105%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:105%">CES Director Jeff Silvertooth has informed me that “<i>There<span style="letter-spacing:-.2pt">
</span>is<span style="letter-spacing:-.05pt"> </span>a<span style="letter-spacing:-.05pt">
</span>general<span style="letter-spacing:-.05pt"> </span>lack<span style="letter-spacing:-.05pt">

academic unit committees and academic unit heads, and those from the CES director and director’s team.
