epidemiologists evaluated the rates of COVID-19 infection in Kansas counties that had mask mandates</a> in comparison to counties that did not. In the span of June 1 to Aug. 23, 2020, the 24 counties with mask mandates saw a 6% decrease in case rate per 100,000
