talking about university employees not students. Students will receive an on-line power point regarding expectations for behavior during the COVID pandemic. I cannot give you a deadline as to when this will get to you all as it is out of the control of ICS.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

of re-entry will be predicated on community health information, hospital bed availability and a myriad of other data before assigning a date for progression from each step to the next. This is (and must be) a fluid process as numbers change every day. If
benchmarks are reached, progress will be made. Risk Management and College of Public Health have created a matrix that will help with the decision-making process.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">Answer: If an employee of the University tests positive for Covid they are required to report the information to their supervisor/HR. They will then follow whatever best practices
they have for recovery to include isolation and medical assistance as needed. If the University discovers a student has contracted Covid, there is a mechanism in place to track the student and trace their contacts within a given period of time using an app
that the students will be asked to install upon arriving on campus. If the student is in campus housing (a dormitory), they will be moved from their regular dorm room and placed in the Isolation Dorm (Babcock) until they are recovered. If the student lives
off campus, they will be expected to isolate wherever they may be living until they recover. The deans of each college will be notified of the student who has the virus who will then notify the teachers of the information. The teacher may then advise the
class that a student in the class has tested positive (IMPORTANT NOTE: THE STUDENT'S NAME MAY NOT BE SHARED WITH OTHERS) and they (the students) may choose to quarantine for up to two weeks if desired. The teacher may also quarantine up to two weeks if they
feel it is necessary. Employees of the University will follow the same directions as the teachers if they test positive. If it is a student employee, they are obligated to report themselves to their supervisor since they are employed at the University.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

in class. Employees of the University or at the University will be addressed by their supervisor for discipline.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="xmsonormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Attached please find two sets of questions we (the College chairs) submitted on June 4 and July 21 to Dr. Carmona, Provost Folks and Vice President Hunter. We never received
a reply or an offer to have a discussion and talk through these questions. As the ICS, the Provost, and the College Deans all know, we, the College chairs, have been meeting weekly for months, sharing information and helping each other move forward.

<p class="xmsonormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Although some of these questions have now been answered to some degree in the last two weeks with the release of final university guidance published
on various webpages, including those of Re-entry, HR, Campus Health, and in Box, there are still significant outstanding issues such as:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Whether there will
<b>be university-wide training for everyone returning to campus</b> – the draft work group documentation since May has stated there would be, so we have been expending our energy elsewhere; now we hear there has been a hold-up due to a voice-over contract.
Whatever is happening, the bottom line is that we have <i>never</i> be given an answer to this in all the times we’ve asked. We would think the University would want to create a uniform back to campus message as most other universities have done (e.g.
<a href="https://www.colorado.edu/protect-our-herd/how#anchor1">UC-Boulder</a> months ago;
<a href="here.nd.edu">ND</a> more recently). Yet we are now all preparing video trainings and other documentation at the College level – so inefficient and will naturally create inconsistencies across campus.
<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Whether
<b>Aug. 31 is still an aspirational date for Stage 2</b> – the message has gone from “watch the data” to Aug. 31 to “watch the data” without explicitly rescinding Aug. 31. Is it both? Are we still shooting for an Aug. 31 return? Should we plan on an Aug. 31
return as long as the data continues to improve? <o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Whether the university is planning use a
<b>responsibility pledge</b> to bring together and emphasize a few key behaviors we need from every member of the community. We heard the university was preparing one; but we haven’t seen or heard anything about it. So we are prepared to submit ours to the
College of Law community. <o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">There is confusing around
<b>testing </b>for students and employees; and around the <b>procedure when there is a covid+ incident
</b>both in the classroom and in the workplace. Guidance has been published recently but it’s been challenging to pull it all together and synthesize it for the College. This would make a perfect training video – what happens when a student is positive; what
happens when an employee does.<o:p></o:p></span></li></ol>

at the college level – at least at the College of Law (I don’t want to presume to speak for the group). We submitted our proposal to the Provost 2 months ago. We received feedback. We revised our draft. Our
<a href="https://law.arizona.edu/coronavirus-covid-19-response-information">New Safe Return Plan</a> is a public-facing document and it is operationalized. We have a Task Force implementing it. What’s also confusing is why you haven’t seen all our plans.
