<p class="x_MsoNormal">Please see attached and below a message from our GPSC president, Shilpita Sen, seeking supporters to advocate against the new rules for international student visas requiring at least some in-person classes for Fall 2020.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">I encourage you to share these with your graduate students and faculty, in case they may be inclined to support this action personally.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">As a campus, we are exploring joining a legal suit against the administration on this issue – more will follow on this in the coming few days. Separately, we are working to be certain that we can provide at least some in-person classes
for all international students (even those who may be at high risk), to be sure that they will be able to maintain their visas.</p>
