<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">As you’re probably aware, approximately two weeks ago the Vice Provost announced that a new section will be added to promotion dossiers this year – a section that will allow candidates to convey how COVID-19
disrupted their activities in teaching, research, service, and/or Extension.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">With the due date of dossiers imminent, I reached out to the Vice Provost today to ask when the template and guidance for the new section will be made available.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Dr. Romero does not know when it will be posted. If you have a due date for your dossier looming, please submit the dossier without the COVID-19 statement. When the new section is posted, you will be able
to submit the statement to your departmental office to update your dossier later this summer.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
