<p class="MsoNormal">I am concerned that we are hearing through a number of channels that people are feeling pressured to return to F2F work without robust protection plans in place. To be clear, except where there is explicit approval from RII to operate,
OR where essential workers continue their critical work on campus, <b>no change to WFH arrangements should be planned at this time in any unit or group.</b><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I write now to ask that you reiterate this point to all of your team and group leaders the message in
<span style="color:black">President Robbin’s memo of 5/8/20 “Commencement, Semester End and Campus Status Updates”, which stated (with my color highlight):</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span style="color:black">“Regardless of any state order or amendment, <b>the University’s in-person operations will NOT reopen to students, faculty and staff on May 15th</b> and no employee should return from a
work-from-home arrangement until directed to do so by their manager. Online instruction will continue through both summer sessions. The University will begin to reopen, in stages, when we have all necessary public health mitigation plans in place. </span><span style="color:#4472C4">Academic
and support unit leaders can expect to receive guidelines for bringing their teams back to in-person operations, as needed, shortly after the Governor announces a change to the current state-wide policies</span><span style="color:black">.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We are working hard to get out the guidelines for early re-entry operations, and I will update you within a few days on that component.<o:p></o:p></p>
