our director of Cooperative Extension for Arizona. I will say, as preface, that as part of the University of Arizona their offices are subject to very similar disease mitigation efforts as our main campus facilities. I'm guessing we can't have students congregate
at Extension offices any more than we can do so in main campus classrooms and other spaces. But, maybe there are technology solutions that capitalize on the broadband connection in those offices that don't involve students having to be there in person.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">I hope this finds you and your families doing well. As we continue to work through adjustments regarding our courses, below are some points to consider for Native students who may be returning to their Tribal
communities. As ITEP Directors, Valerie and I, have taken some of these same points of concern into consideration regarding our ITEP students. This also includes Native grad students returning to their families and Tribal communities. We have also learned
some of our students live off campus and do not have internet access in their apartments (to save costs) and choose to use local resources on campus to complete assignments. Thus, even if they decide to not return to their communities, they may have limited
access to on-line access to courses.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">For us personally, when we return to our home communities of Hopi and Navajo having access to the internet, cell phone reception, hotspot, etc. can be of concern. At times it is available via local public
facilities for the public but those most likely will be closed. Other times, the service can be slow due to the remote location and/or the high volume of users on the local system. </span><o:p></o:p></p>

have closed their computer labs and or not offered to the general public. Zoom take a lot of internet usage and WIFI is spottty or non-existence in areas.<br>
</span><span style="font-size:10.5pt;color:#1C1E21;background:white">San Juan College's Native American Center student staff workers started a spreadsheet called "Online Resources and Capabilities in Native Communities" for students. The sheet shows areas
