<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color:black">We recently hired Gigette Aja Webb to lead our efforts in Agricultural STEM and Agricultural Literacy. She serves as Associate Programmatic Area Agent - Agricultural STEM and is located in the Maricopa County
Cooperative Extension office. With her area designation she will be addressing stakeholder needs in Maricopa as well as other adjacent counties with significant urban populations. Gigette’s hiring represents a significant step forward in our efforts to maintain
and expand programming in Agricultural STEM/Literacy. I would therefore like to schedule a coordination meeting in September with all faculty/staff working in Agricultural STEM/Literacy. The purpose of the meeting will be three-fold: 1) to get acquainted
with faculty/staff involved in Agricultural STEM/Literacy, 2) to allow faculty/staff to discuss their current programs and 3) to identify programmatic needs (e.g., literature, dissemination platforms, curriculum, etc.).
