<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Over the last seven years quarterly all funds budgets have become a foundation of our division. In that time, effective budget planning has enabled the hire of 164 faculty, increased salaries for all performing
employees, and built trust with central administration about our finances. The Dean and EC rely heavily upon the correctness and integrity of the quarterly budgets and refer to them throughout the year in response to every financial request from your unit
leaders. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Going forward, the CALS and Extension business offices will streamline their review process.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
