<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif">CALS and CES have set aside annual merit performance funding for faculty since 2011. Based on a request from Academic Unit Heads, a budget pool approximating 18.5% of employees
was set aside to meet the anticipated merit requests. This amounts to an average increase of $2,900 for those in the 18.5% pool.
