higher ed industry but also at the UA specifically. I have been encouraging business officers to engage in trainings such as this to help them grow professionally to meet the challenge and better understand the needs, communication, and mission-focus of the
faculty. Along with this requires an awareness and appreciation for the contributions of business ideals and concepts by the faculty.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif;color:#1F497D">There’s room for improvement on both sides, but I’m pleased with the acceptance of these ideas in CALS. I think as a college, we have a culture that is more inclusive
of the contributions of all members. In my work at the UA, contributions of staff and APs have not always been so well received.
