Interim UA President Eugene Sander and Dean Burgess have asked Cooperative Extension to provide some data about the size and scope of our efforts to bring in extramural funding, engage volunteers, and create jobs in Arizona. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Specifically, we have been asked to <b>identify only those funds coming from outside the state</b> that add value to our work. The time frame against which we need to report is the past 10 years.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>We have determined that we can best provide this information centrally, and we can report for each of the county and tribal offices without requesting you to provide information as well. We plan to report against the six (6) areas in the CALS strategic plan. As we collect this information, we may have a need to contact some of you for some specific details or clarification. However, you will not need to report any county-specific data separately.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>We have been asked provide this information by the end of the month.
