Starting March 1, Bank of America will require additional self-authentication for certain online PCard transactions. A one-time password will be sent via text or email when the merchant requires additional authorization before approving the transaction.

This update applies only to individual cards and does not impact department cards.

How to prepare

  3.  Choose Edit User Details from the drop-down.
  4.  Select Edit for either the email or mobile phone option.
  5.  Select Save.
Failure to authenticate these purchases may result in Bank of America temporarily locking the PCard. To unlock the card, contact the customer service number located on the back of the card.
