Dear Collaborators,

Below is a link to a podcast interview I had with Mike McMahon at Grand Canyon University. I gave a presentation at the Arizona Association of Environmental Educators conference held last August at GCU on my professional experience, the mesquite project and education strategies I am implementing in southern AZ in collaboration with schools, social organizations, and authorities. I was lucky to get invited to the podcast right after my presentation!. I was scheduled for a 30-min interview on zoom, but the conversation and exchanges were very interesting that we ended up talking for one hour.

I hope we can develop a podcast of this nature at UofA as it is an efficient way to spread scientific and practical knowledge to our society worldwide!. As indicated in the email below the link to the interview is: https://youtu.be/_EfyB2jzouc<https://youtu.be/_EfyB2jzouc>

Enjoy!,

Drawing on your journey through Mexico, Hawaii, Africa, and Arizona, you show how pioneering plants and native ecosystems hold the key to healing the land-especially in the face of climate change and resource degradation.

>From your early research on Hawaiian lava flows to leading school-based restoration programs in Niger and introducing mesquite as a misunderstood hero in the Sonoran Desert, your insight is grounded, inspiring, and practical.
