In the past few weeks, our Urban and Community Forestry<https://dffm.az.gov/forestry-community-forestry/urban-community-forestry> program has announced two open grant opportunities: the TREE Grant<https://dffm.az.gov/grants/community/TREE-Grants> serving Tree City USA and Tree Campus program participants; and the Green Campus opportunity, for K-12 schools, healthcare facilities, and faith-based institutions to support their urban/community forest (website update coming soon, see grant solicitation attached for more info).

Have questions about the application, how the grant works, or want to chat about a project idea?

Our Urban and Community Forestry staff will be hosting office hours at various times during the application period(s). Take a look at the dates and times listed below, and mark your calendar with the hour that works for you:

  *   Wednesday, October 22nd 9 am - 10 am
  *   Friday, October 31st, 10 am - 11 am
  *   Thursday, November 6th, 12 pm - 1 pm
  *   Tuesday, November 11th, 12 pm - 1 pm (for Green Campus only)

TREE grant applications are due by November 7th at 11:59pm.
Green Campus applications are due November 13th at 11:59pm.
