Good morning, ALVSCE CEDs,

I am an Editor for Agronomy Journal, the flagship journal of the American Society for Agronomy. My editorship dates back to the "olden days" when my expertise in irrigation water quality kept me very busy reviewing papers.

Right now, the AJ editorship is recruiting Associate Editors - this is the person assigned to each paper who identifies and assigns the reviewers, and assists in getting the paper in shape for publication (or not, in case of rejection).

This is a great position for early-career Extension Agents! Do you know of any who may be interested? Editorial work looks great on a CV. We are searching for expertise on a wide range of topics in agriculture, natural resources, soil science, crop science, agroclimatology, agronomic modeling, production agriculture, crop genetics, plant breeding, and instrumentation.
