ALVSCE Colleagues,

As we prepare for the holidays and vacation time with family and friends, we would like to note that with Sponsored Projects Services (SPS) timelines and University Closures dates, we have modified deadlines for any proposals/sponsored projects due anytime between December 21st 2024 - January 6rd 2025 with a very hard deadline of Dec 16th.

Historically the University Closure has caused some challenges, especially for industry partners that want a contract finalized before the end of the year.  Additionally, with the coming New Year landing on a Wednesday, the university will not be back to top processing until Jan 6th.   We would hate for any faculty to get caught in not getting needed approvals.

So. here are some key dates to keep in mind for any proposals due between December 21st 2024 - January 6rd 2025:


  *   December 9th:  Last date to notify of a project before the break without a signed late proposal form.
  *   December 10th - 15th:  All notifications that would require a signed late proposal form from the Dept.
  *   December 16th: Last day for proposals to be accepted by ALVSCE pre-award team. Anything sent to the team after the 16th would not be processed before Jan 6th.
