[CED/CD/EAT] County Computer Inventory starts next week!

Hello CES Leadership,

Andy Medina and I are in the process of inventorying the PCs out in the Counties! We realize that computers come into the workplace through various means and, as you can understand, be challenging to track. Therefore, we're asking for your help by having your county employees fill out a short, 1-minute multiple choice Qualtrics survey about your employees' work computer(s) - including personally owned computers used for work.

Computers that are recorded through this survey that are outdated, out-of-warranty, or underpowered will be considered for a new replacement. Additionally, newer reported computers will be added to the pool and considered for replacement when they reach their lifespan. This hardware replacement is possible through a department-tax-funded program from UITS called "Technology Lifecycle Care" (TLC) - I previously mentioned this program via email last October 26th. This program has just launched and is most likely not ready for CES. However, we will eventually need a complete inventory for TLC and various other beneficial reasons. The Qualtrics survey will be distributed with unique survey links for each County and FRTEP employee on Monday morning (except for Maricopa County, WRRC, and Extension Administration - these inventories are complete), and must be completed by Thursday, Feb 23.
