[CED/CD/EAT] FW: ALVSCE Staff Council CES Representatives

Dear Directors,

We are looking for a staff member to serve as an Extension Representative on the ALVSCE Staff Council. Currently, we have Anthony Bertero (Extension Admin) and Vanessa Parra (Maricopa County) on the council as Extension reps. We are looking for a third representative.

Can you please send me the names of any staff in your office who may be interested. Please be sure to check the staff member before submitting their name. The time commitment for staff council is about 4 hours per month, as each month there is a one-hour staff council meeting, two sub-committee meetings, and one hour for any additional or independent work. Finally, all of the meetings are scheduled via zoom.

The council is seeking a staff member not from your county business office but someone who can represent programmatic staff.

Hi Ed and Carolyne-

I hope this email finds you well.  As you likely remember, Rachel Doty and I recently presented at the Cooperative Extension Annual Meeting and announced that we are actively seeking an additional representative from Cooperative Extension to serve on the ALVSCE Staff Council.  Current representatives include Anthony Bertero (Extension Admin) and Vanessa Parra (Maricopa County).

Despite our efforts, we are still looking to fill this open spot on the council with an additional staff member from one of the counties.  Preferably someone who isn't working in a business office. The time commitment for staff council is about 4 hour per month, as each month there is a one-hour staff council meeting, 2 sub-committee meetings and one hour for any additional or independent work. Finally, all of our meetings are scheduled via zoom to include all members of the council, and represent all staff within the division.

I am hoping that the two of you may be able to nominate someone who would be suited to serve on this council, or suggest some individuals whom we may contact directly to request their participation?
